Congrats, My Friends!

Congrats to my friends at LTT! I’m very excited for you!

And I also love you, the awesome Twilight (and maybe a few Hosts, too) fandom. I stalk your websites all the time—you guys are hilarious (I recently added LTT to my stalk list; thanks for the laugh lines, ladies). I’m looking forward to seeing some of you in November for a little movie release that I’m excited about. Too many months to go!

Thoughts on the Eve of Comic-Con 2009

Dear New Moon,

 

Are you worried that you won’t be given the same attention Twilight was given at Comic-Con? I am. Sure, I felt I had already seen Twilight by the time I saw Twilight, with all the video that was posted on YouTube, but spoilers aside, it was fun feeling like I was part of the process. New Moon, you are my favorite of the Twilight Saga. It’s so unfair that they have kept us apart the way they have these many months, being stingy with their news, withholding video from the set, and in general being all closed off and selfish. There are even fewer and fewer blurbs about you in Entertainment Weekly (I bought a subscription just for you) and the folks over there are whores for all things Twilight. I can only hope that at this week’s Comic-Con there will be some great videos of you posted online, especially of the panel, with which I can SQUEE vicariously. I won’t be there again this year, so vicariously is all I have.

The Latest on Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Casting

There have been updates. I am reminding you to check my Auditions page. Many of you are finding much older posts, begging for info, and missing the Auditions page completely. I’ve made some arrows pointing at it. I hope that helps.

It seems that in my absence the Main Principal Actor Casting Director was posted and taken down because people were looking up phone numbers and calling the office when they were told NO PHONE CALLS. I’ll post whatever info I find here, but it will only be up as long as I’m allowed to have it up. Please follow the rules Acting411 sets. As I said on my Auditions page, it would be a shame if some really great talent didn’t get a chance to audition because they couldn’t find the info. We want the best movie possible. Please follow the rules.

Where’s Rabbit?

Thanks for continuing to come back even though I’m not posting a whole lot. I haven’t lost interest. I’ve lost time. That is, I’ve started a new job, and have a whole lot less free time. Once I’m out of training, and my schedule  and I both settled down, I’ll be online more. Then I’ll be ready to catch up on all things Twilight.

Thanks to Grand Junction, CO for visiting my site and reminding me of War Games. I always think of War Games when I hear or read the name Grand Junction. It was the first time I ever heard of it.

So, until next time, I’ll be re-reading The Host so I can blog about it when I’m back online, per Artistic Philosopher’s request. It’s Stephenie Meyer. I figure it’s close enough to Twilight. As Jeb would say, my blog, my rules.

A Blog Roll Please: Twilog

Ah, Twilog, how I love thee. I should have added you to my A Blog Roll Please thread long ago. Initially I was using this as an exercise to help me remember all the wonderful sites I’ve collected these past few months. I realized that just because I haven’t forgotten about you doesn’t mean others haven’t, or haven’t yet discovered the beauty that is you.

For those unfamiliar, Twilog is run by Whitley and Jeremy, a couple who created the blog as a way to share computer time. Twilog features photos, videos, and Twi-news regularly. They’re very good about bring us the latest picks from LaineyGossip and adding their own comments. My favorite on-going thread is Chapter Discussions. Every once in a while they will post a series of questions about what you were thinking and feeling when you first read a particular chapter. So far they have done chapters 1-6 of Twilight.

So if you’re looking for a new blog to follow, or if you’ve forgotten about your old friends at Twilog, head on over and leave them a comment or two. You might see something like this pic from JustJared.
